GTA 6 comes out on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and pre-orders are open in two editions. There’s also a $400 collector’s box that a lot of people are searching for. It doesn’t include the game.
| Price | What you get | |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $79.99 | The game, plus the Vintage Vice City Pack if you pre-order |
| Ultimate Edition | $99.99 | The game, plus extra cars, weapons, outfits, businesses and two side missions |
| The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection | $399.99 | A collector’s box: Macca the Gator figure, Oakley sunglasses, a poster with the Leonida map. No game |
Buy the Standard Edition. The pre-order bonus, 1980s outfits for Lucia and Jason, a 1955 car and weapon skins, comes with either edition. And Rockstar says you can upgrade to Ultimate after launch, so there’s no reason to pay the extra $20 up front. Play it first, and upgrade if you want more cars and businesses.
The Goodtime State box is for collectors only. It’s limited to one per customer from the Rockstar Store and ships on November 19, but you still need to buy the game separately, so the real total is $480 or more.
Whichever edition you get, the preload starts on November 10 and needs 212 GB. Our preload guide has the times and how to make room, the PS5 SSD guide covers the drives worth adding, and there’s no PC version yet: here’s what we expect it to need.
