Season 2 adds new Resurgence map – Ashika Island. It’s a small map for a fast paced combat that also features DMZ mode. The authors claim that is it 30% larger than the previous small maps.

Warzone 2’s Gulag map was optimized to host 1-v-1 engagements and Activision promise that they will replace it with another 1-v-1 location. Also, weapons types in Gulag will be changed too: ARs, SMGs, and LMGs will be added.
Killed enemies will now drop all their loot on the ground, players don’t need to search through killed enemies’ backpacks anymore.
